About Us

Wide Horizons For Children is the largest private, non-profit adoption and child welfare agency in New England, and among the largest in the U.S. Since 1974 we have placed over 10,000 children with loving, permanent families.

We serve families throughout the U.S., placing children from 11 different countries, including the United States. Regions include Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America. Wide Horizons has regional offices in seven states in order to best meet your needs.

Over one-third of our agency staff is personally involved with adoption; either as adoptees or adoptive parents.

We are dedicated to the welfare of children before, during and after the adoption and the ongoing need of orphaned children around the world.

We make this commitment by providing support to foster parents, orphanage workers, nutritional programs, medical care and schooling. Over the past 34 years, we have donated more than $12 million to help with the care of children.
