Mulutsega

Mulutsega lives in Ethiopia with his mother and younger brother. The family sleeps together on the floor each night — they live in a one-room house made of corrugated iron sheeting. Mulutsega is 8 years old and is in 1st grade. His favorite subject is mathematics. Despite his single mother’s efforts to earn money for food, soap, school supplies and other necessities, sporadic work opportunities selling injera or as a cleaner are not enough. His mother knows and values the importance of education, but Mulutsega often attends school hungry and without a pencil, paper or workbook. Will you sponsor Mulutsega and change the course of his life?
