Meet Remi, a talented and energetic 14-year-old who needs a forever family.
Remi loves to express herself through drawing and enjoys the strategic challenge of playing chess. She’s also an active athlete who excels in volleyball, skating, and basketball. When it comes to academics, her favorite subjects are physics, social studies, and Spanish—showing her curiosity about the world around her.
Remi’s favorite treat is rice pudding, a sweet indulgence that matches her vibrant personality. She dreams of one day becoming a veterinarian, where she can care for animals, or a professional skateboarder, embracing her adventurous spirit.
Remi needs a loving, supportive family that will encourage her talents and stand by her as she works toward her dreams.

Kidsave Summer Miracles – Host a Child This Summer
Kidsave’s Summer Miracles program gives older orphans (ages 10-14) from Colombia a chance at a family. With little likelihood of adoption in their own country, our Summer Miracles kids travel to the U.S. for a memorable five-week stay with a host family over the summer.
While the kids are here, they learn about U.S. culture and experience life in an American family. Host families work with Kidsave staff and volunteers to help engage their local communities to get to know the kids and find them an adoptive family. Many of our host families adopt the children they host.
